Willows are deciduous and form large, dense root-mats on the surface of the soil or in shallow water. Found in temperate Australia along riverbanks and in wetlands. Real willows are susceptible to diseases such as scab, willow blight, powdery mildew…………but not our artificial willow! The willow is a multi-branches shrub with narrow, pointed leaves that are lighter on the bottom surface.
